I am looking to join a team as is my bro-in-law who just moved to the city. I have played flag in another league for the past 2 years (div 2) as TE and LB and 3rd string QB. Marcus plays WR/DB.

Our team only has nine on the roster. Five are new to the team. We can really use more guys, as it is a struggle the way things are. You will both get to play both offence and defence if you want...many positions. We need a back-up QB and another centre. We play next Monday at 6:30pm. We have only played one game so far. I know it's late in the season, but if there is any team that requires an occasional player... I'm in. There's a bit of a catch I guess, I travel lots for my work, and am only in town thursday nights until monday mornings... so any weekends games would work for me. Also, I would be available most of the time in july, but not avail at all in August (I don't know how long the season is, but I'm available in September again).

That all being said, I'm a team player, that works hard and plays fairly well.

I moved here from Winnipeg last fall, and want to play some football. My experience: played high school football until 2004, 1 year for Under-19 Team Manitoba Canada Cup, and another 2 years of Manitoba Major League Football. I have also played touch football in Winnipeg for 3 years at several different levels - I've been on championship teams and lead teams and divisions in interceptions. I am mostly a DB but also very familiar with SB and WR positions. I have a fairly pansy throw and can't snap the ball, but can certainly run and read plays well.

Are there any teams who need a player. I havent played any touch but did play in high school. I was an offensive lineman. but im willing to come out and play.

The season ends in about 3 weeks so you wouldn't be eligible to play at this time. There is an indoor season that starts in January. The next outdoor season starts in May. If you want to play indoor, contact Conrad (e-mail info is in the league Executive section of this website) and let him know you are interested and you will most likely be placed on a team. Just wait until October or Nov to let him know.
